Purpose
Recent parking and traffic studies have identified a need for an additional on-site parking for Sinai staff. Due to the shortage, many staff are parking at the nearby Pimlico Race Course.To alleviate this shortage a a parking garage is being built behind the Hospital and Emergency Room This garage will be primarily for staff, with a designated parking area for ER-7 patients and visitors.
Location
- The new garage will be constructed where the existing staff parking lot is located directly off of Cylburn Avenue.
Description/Building Features
- The Cylburn garage will consist of seven levels to accommodate a total of 605 cars.
- The Cylburn garage will have three entrances:
- An entrance connecting the current physicians
lot for physicians parking.
- An entrance from the Ambulatory Psychiatry
building driveway for use by employees.
- A separate entrance from the current ER-7 deck for some ER-7 patient parking on the third level of the garage.
