High School diploma or equivalent. Certified Central Service Technician. Must have ability to operate specialized equipment: washer, sonic etc. and able to operate computer and utilize various software applications. Must be fluent in the use of and interpretation of Medical terminology.

Under moderate supervision performs cleaning and decontamination activities for surgical instruments, procedure trays and patient care equipment. Provides specialty support to specialty OR teams. Incorporates knowledge of techniques, procedures use of equipment and Hospital and Department policies necessary for efficient and accurate job performance.

Work in partnership with other staff members and physicians; and pro-actively identifies and provides for the customers needs using LIfeBridge Health customer service standards as identified on each campus
