Sometimes all it takes is a friendly smile and a willingness to lend an ear to make the work place seem more enjoyable. Amy Ward helps ease the transition for newly hired nurses into new surroundings, as well as the policies and procedures at Northwest Hospital. “She is always in a great mood and puts other in the same mood,” says Northwest Hospital’s HR Director Sonja Singer. “She is open to everyone to discuss anything and does whatever she can to get issues resolved.”
