Patient Support Specialist

In November 2002, Christine Barbour said she felt “called” to gave up her job at Sinai as a Radiology Specialist to try something different.  Now as a patient support specialist on Blaustein 6, Christine has realized her calling –finding large and small ways to make the patients and her coworkers feel supported and cared for. 

From helping patients go outside for a breath of fresh air, to bringing them small presents or a warm blanket to putting in extra hours when staffing was short, Christine has proved her instincts were right again and again.
