The Critical Care Medicine Division provides comprehensive tertiary care services. The centerpiece of the Division is the 10-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Staffed by Board Certified Pediatric Intensivists and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners trained in critical care pediatrics, we are able to care for children with a wide variety of critical illnesses, including respiratory failure, shock, neurologic compromise and metabolic abnormalities.
