Remote Anesthesia Procedures

Many children who require imaging or minor surgical procedures need sedation and anesthesia. Through remote anesthesia, children are anesthetized in a safe, child-friendly manner in a non-threatening environment by a Pediatric Anesthesiologist using state-of-the art techniques. Procedures are performed in a non-operating room setting which minimizes parental separation, as well as cost.

In addition to the remote pediatric anesthesia program, Sinai Hospital provides comprehensive operating room pediatric anesthesia coverage by pediatric anesthesiologists, a pediatric pain consultative service as well as pediatric sedation consultations.
