Kenneth B. Tepper, M.D. is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine. Dr. Tepper's training includes a Sports Medicine fellowship at Kentucky Sports Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky, which followed his orthopedic training at the University of Cincinnati. He earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Dr. Tepper's interests include advanced, minimally invasive knee and shoulder surgery. His publications include a chapter on the examination and diagnosis of hand and wrist injuries in the U.S. Amateur Boxing Ringside Physicians Manual, a chapter on The Shoulder in The Female Athlete, and an article in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
He is currently a consultant to U.S. Boxing, serving as a ringside physician for the U.S. Amateur Boxing Association. Dr. Tepper has worked with athletes at the Olympic, professional, collegiate and amateur level, and is the head team physician for Villa Julie College. He is also an assistant team physician at McDaniel College and Mount St. Mary's College and works with numerous high schools in Baltimore and Carroll counties. Dr. Tepper is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the American College of Sports Medicine.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is an alumnus of Pikesville High School.
