Residency Training Program
Commitments
Our program is committed to providing its trainees an opportunity to
achieve the knowledge, skills, and attitudes essential for the practice of
obstetrics and gynecology and provision of ambulatory primary health care for women.
The department Chairman, Program Directors, and teaching faculty provide a
program geared to teaching the cognitive and technical skills necessary to be
certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Application Process
All interested candidates must apply through the Electronic
Residency Application Service (ERAS). Application requirements include:
- A completed ERAS form
- Official transcript from your medical school
- A letter of recommendation from the Dean of your medical school
- Three letters of recommendation from faculty members regarding your
performance on clinical clerkships
- A personal statement
- Results of USMLE, or equivalent, licensing examinations
- A recent photograph is desirable.
Your application is reviewed after all required materials have been
transmitted through ERAS. Candidates who accept invitations to interview will
spend about five hours with faculty and residents, and receive an extensive
tour. Applicants who have interviews are welcome to contact the Residency
Coordinator with questions as they arise.
