Rodrigo Brito Erlich, M.D., is now a member of the Division of Medical Oncology and Hematology in the Department of Medicine at Sinai Hospital�s Alvin & Lois Lapidus Cancer Institute. Erlich will direct the multidisciplinary lung cancer program and bring innovative therapies for patients with cancer.
Dr. Erlich�s main focus will be lung and gastrointestinal malignancies,� said Alan Levine, M.D., director of the Alvin & Lois Lapidus Cancer Institute and head of the Division of Orthopedic Oncology. Those are two areas that we know will greatly benefit from his expertise and skill as a physician.�
Before joining Sinai, Erlich served as chief of Medical Oncology, Division of Hematology and Oncology at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He was also the founder and director of the Johns Hopkins Geriatric Oncology Fellowship Program.
Erlich currently works as an assistant professor of Medicine and Oncology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and also serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Network for Oncology Communication and Research (NOCR). Erlich is widely published in the field of medical oncology.
