Susan Levy, M.D., has been named the medical director at Jewish Convalescent & Nursing Home. She is responsible for overseeing the medical staff and the quality of care throughout the facility.
Dr. Levy�s expertise is internal medicine and geriatric medicine. Her specialty is quality long-term care for the elderly and disabled, which includes geriatric assessments, inpatient treatment and outpatient services.
Dr. Levy also serves as the vice president of Medical Affairs at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, where she supervises medical care for long-term, sub acute and chronic hospital patients and residents.
As vice president of the Maryland Medical Directors Association, Dr. Levy has input into the training and education that medical directors around Maryland receive.
