Hospitals can be scary places for children. At The Children’s Hospital at Sinai, we put children at ease with a full range of child-focused pediatric specialty services, for patients from birth to 18 years of age.

Few hospitals in the region offer the leadership in pediatric medicine available at The Children’s Hospital at Sinai. It’s the only community hospital in Maryland to offer pediatric subspecialties.

The Children’s Hospital at Sinai places the child at the center of care. A team approach brings together a doctor, a social worker, a clinical nurse and a practice manager for each patient. When parents need to know how their child is doing, they speak directly with the doctor and, quite often, the pediatrician-in-chief.

Some of the subspecialties available at The Children’s Hospital include adolescent medicine, pediatric anesthesiology, behavioral pediatrics, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology and nutrition, radiation oncology, neurology, and many more. The main hospital features neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. Primary care pediatrics and social support services are offered through Greenspring Pediatric Associates/Park West Medical Center.

Sinai also focuses on education, managing the third largest pediatric resident training program in Maryland. Medical students rotate through Sinai because of its community hospital environment. The Children’s Hospital provides an intimate ambiance where new doctors perfect the all-important art of personalized care.
