Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Maryland Board of Occupational Therapy.
Must have completed Healthcare provider or CPR for the professioanl Rescuer Course.
Under moderate supervision, evaluates patients, plans and administers patient treatments, based on physician referral, to restore or improve physical, cognitive and emotional condition. Provides therapy to patients utilizing self-care tasks, work skills, muscle re-education, therapeutic activities, etc. Supervises and coordinates student activities of the clinical education program; provides technical guidance and counsel; monitors and evaluates student performance; instructs house staff and other hospital personnel in occupational therapy techniques, modes of treatment, etc. Performs administrative duties as required.
