Under moderate to limited supervision, performs moderately complex clinical laboratory tests in one or more of the following disciplines; blood bank, microbiology, manual procedures, and automated procedures. Uses and maintains equipment, reagents, and supplies; demonstrates computer skills; deals with pre-analytical problems; and performs required calibration and quality control. Communicates test results internally and interdepartmentally. Works under the direct supervision of the section Manager, Team Leader, or a Medical Technologist.
